Our Story

Piñatta is a small minority owed business started by two Mexican American brothers. We do food pop ups around Chicago as well a monthly residency. We serve traditional taqueria favorites while seeking inspiration from pre-Columbian Mesomerica. Highlighting single origin heirloom ingredients from Mexico is another core belief of our concept. We look forward to combining locally sourced produce within our seasonal menu.
